Jeff Christensen - Founder, Head QB Coach
Jeff Christensen taken as the 135th player in the 1983 draft out of Eastern Illinois University by the Cincinnati Bengals. Spent 8 years with the Bengals, Rams, Browns, Broncos and Eagles. Jeff is regarded by hundreds of people in football as the utmost expert in proper QB technique training. Currently trains over a hundred starting QBs in the country, from age 10 to NFL QBs. He has created a system and specific drills now endorsed and used by several high school and college coaches. For the past 10 years Jeff has been the lead QB instructor at Nike, Under Armour, Football University (FBU) and Schuman camps and combines all over the country. College coaches often have Jeff attend their practices and games to assess thier QB's throwing technique.
Steve DeBerg - QB Coach (Tampa, FL)
Steve DeBerg is known in professional football as the ultimate student of the game. With 18 years of experience as an NFL starting quarterback, he enjoyed one of the longest, most successful playing careers in the NFL. Steve competed with and learned from the very best, including several Hall of Fame coaches (Bill Walsh, Dan Reeves, Don Shula) and Hall of Fame quarterbacks (Roger Staubach, Joe Montana, John Elway, Steve Young, Dan Marino.) Steve also spent 5 years as a NFL quarterback coach with the NY Giants and Atlanta Falcons.
Jack Trudeau - QB Coach (Indianapolis, IN)
Jack Trudeau after leading University of Illinois to the Rose Bowl in 1984 Jack was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and spent 10 years in the NFL. During his career, Jack threw for over 10,000 yards. Jack has been helping teach proper Throw It Deep techniques to young QBs for the past 7 years.
Brett Basanez - QB Coach
Brett Basanez the leading passer in the history of Northwestern University with over 10,000 yards. Spent 3 years in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears before a career ending throwing thumb injury in 2011. Brett has a brilliant football mind. Has spent 18 months in the Throw It Deep system and is instructing at our clinics around the country.
