Evan Bernard

Evan has been with Throw It Deep since 2007, first as a student, and then as a coach for the last 6 years. After his playing quarterback at College of DuPage, Bernard went on to become the assistant offensive coordinator at Benedictine University, where he helped the Eagles become the number one passing offense in the country.

Bernard has trained alongside Coach Christensen in Chicago helping thousands of youth, high school, and multiple Division 1/NFL starting quarterbacks. His full-time commitment to Throw It Deep and his additional recruiting background, will help athletes navigate through the ever-changing football landscape.

Evan Bernard's experience as a collegiate coach, along with his playing career as quarterback under the tutelage of Jeff Christensen, provides an incredible opportunity for young Arizona quarterbacks to learn from one of the region’s best. Bernard will bring Jeff Christensen’s respected teachings and concepts to Arizona to create a unique training program quarterbacks will flourish in.

Over the last 10 years, Christensen has worked with countless NFL athletes, some of which include: Patrick Mahomes, Jimmy Garoppolo, Baker Mayfield, Mitch Trubisky, and Drew Stanton, just to name a few. Christensen continues to provide key insight based on years of experience and traditional QB mechanics.

We offer QB training 6-days a week!

Our athletes have the ability to choose which sessions they want to attend via the schedule on our Throw It Deep app. There is no requirement for how many times the athlete has to come out, but we encourage our athletes to attend at least once a week for best training results.

What is the pricing? How do packages work?

Our biggest focus is making sure our athletes are taken care of. We work with our clients on payment plans and try to accommodate with pricing. We operate on a universal pricing system for all ages. Typically, packages work best for our clients as they give each of our athletes the ability to come out more often and truly work on their craft. Our packages do not expire until 2 years after purchase, so you have plenty of time to utilize your sessions.

For more info on pricing/packages, please contact us directly at 815-325-9111..

How can I stay updated on training sessions, cancellations, special guest attendees, and reminders?

You can stay updated with us by following us on social media - @throwitdeep on Instagram and Twitter.

I have a ton of questions. What is the best way of getting in touch with someone in your organization?

The best way to get in touch with us is by calling us directly at 815-325-9111.

Our general manager/lead coach, Evan, will take care of any and all questions that you may have.

Is there any age limit for training?

We train QB's from ages 7 all the way to the NFL. So if you are wondering if you're kid is ready, he is! We offer small group training completely separate from our older guys to make sure our athletes receive the attention they deserve. We accommodate our training program to age specific drills, so our younger guys are not overwhelmed!

Do you guys just train in Chicago? or Do you offer training in other states as well?

We currently have training bases in Chicago, IL, Kansas City, MO, and Arizona. We are currently in the process of launching a nation-wide camp that may cover Texas, Kansas City, Ohio, Florida, Missouri, Atlanta and more. Big announcements to come later this year!
